Born in 1955 in Chorley Lancashire.
Studied at Hammersmith school of Art and Design, London and Trent Polytechnic, Nottingham.
He moved from Cambridge to live in Portugal in 1982, spending some years renovating an old property in the village of Figueira on the western Algarve where his private gallery can be found.
He has exhibited extensively during his time in Portugal.
